Making A Splash

Priya Lakhotia Parikh of Chicago Studio helps with some clever guidance on how to design a powder bathroom…

The brief for this space was to make a one-of-a-kind powder bathroom, which should be modern, yet have a hint of colour and an ethnic touch to it. The arched mirror, hanging decorative lights made from marble and the greenish-grey marble flooring all came together perfectly. To get such a timeless looking basin fit in place with all the other materials was not an easy task – it was quite an exercise to get the countertop quartz cut and adjusted to the correct size of the basin before we got the perfect fit!
